Jackson Square and the French Market

Walking around Jackson Square and the French Market are one of the must sees in New Orleans. The market is full of fresh fruits and vegetables, and also a variety of flee market type booths with authentic Louisiana made items. Some of the sights we captured with the camera and some we missed. The Square is never boring that is for sure with entertainment (professional or otherwise) and you can bet you will always find a cup to deposit some coins for a song. I would certainly hate to think I would have to make a living with my musical talents.

One of things that I think I miss most is the spanish moss on the live oaks. It just had a way of making the trees look so much older, if that is possible, and it gave them character. I am wondering how long it will be before if returns, and imagine it will take years.
